Summary
During the first 8 months of 2010, fertilizer sale was decreased by 14 percent whereas DAP sale has been halved. According to data issued by National Fertilizer Development Centre, overall sale of fertilizer remained 49 lac tones which was badly affected during August due to floods. This brought 54 percent downfall in its sale on annual basis while 38 percent on monthly basis. During first 8 months of 2010, 4 lac and 25 thousand tones DAP was sold.
