Summary
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has increased the power tariff by 33 paisas which will not be applied on lifeline consumers. NEPRA announced this hike under fuel adjustment of August and on the basis of power generation cost and electricity buying price. NEPRA has sent summary to Ministry of Water and Power before issuing final notification.
