At least 9 percent decrease has been seen in the production of oil refineries during 2009-10 due to increasing circular debt. Last year, production of oil refineries remained 80 lac tones while this volume was 87 lac tones in 2008-09. According to experts, margins of the sector may increase due to shortfall in world oil prices.
