Weekly inflation recorded at 17.58 pc

Inflation rate, for the week ended on May 13, has reached 17.58 percent. According to figures of Federal Bureau of Statistics, inflation rate increased by 1 percent as compared to last week while 17.58 percent hike was recorded as compared to the same period of last year. During the week under review average prices of 21 items registered increase, while that of 10 items decrease with the remaining 22 items prices unchanged.
