Eight bidders have quoted prices in response to the international sugar tender for 200,000 metric tons floated by Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) on January 20. According to a TCP official on Saturday, the highest price was quoted by M/s Bunge S, A. at $726.47 per ton C&F while M/s American Investment, UK quoted the lowest at $ 599.80 per ton C&F. The decision on the tender will be taken on Monday March 8, at the price evaluation committee meeting at TCP head office.
