Dawood Islamic Bank inaugurated its 3 new branches in Lahore. The bank operates in compliance with the Islamic Sharia, Chairman Rafeeq Dawood today inaugurated 3 branches in Defence, Johar Town and Iqbal Town. 50 branches of the bank are already providing Islamic banking services. The main aim of the bank is to cater for the growing demand of Islamic products and service in the banking sector.Speaking to media, the chairman said that Islamic banking is currently having a very minor share in the banking sector so joint initiative for promoting Islamic Banking must be taken to improve this trend.
