Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen said that change of Punjab governments overdraft of Rs 50 billion into loan is being raised like a political issue. The government had forgiven overdraft of Balochistan. Talking to media at the opening ceremony of National Savings Bonds in Islamabad, Tareen said that Punjab had requested the Federal government to change the overdraft into loan when Punjab got less revenue from the government. He said that volume of loans to GDP would be 58 percent next year. The government did not get any loan from the State Bank after October, instead it returned back Rs 300 billion. He said that it is expected to get Rs 396 billion revenue this year.
