Karachi Stock Exchange witnessed a mixed trend on last business day as the benchmark 100-Index closed with an increase of 154 points. The business activities started in negative zone due to selling pressure. However, buying from financial institutions and foreign investors and short covering pushed the market in positive zone. The KSE-100 Index closed at 9455, up 154 points with trade volume of 199.7 million shares. Jahangir Siddiqui and Co remained volume leader with trade volume of 32.5 million shares and share price of Rs 40.70, up Rs 1.70.
