The production capability of Pakistan Steel Mill has increased by 15 percent after the completion of repair work, Dunya News Friday reported. Steel products of 2,500 ton are being manufactured everyday in the mill. PSM Spokesman Shafi Haider told Dunya News that rumors of suspending production activity following the shortage of crude materials were baseless. He informed that on Thursday compressor number three and e-circulating wires were repaired for 12 hours on monthly basis. He told that production ability reached to 65 percent with an addition of 15 percent after the repair work. The spokesman maintained that production ability would be brought to 90percent stage soon. He revealed that crude material stock of 35,000 tons was stored in the mill which was enough for 15 days. Three ships will deliver 150,000 tons of crude material this month, he added.
