Congress party leads in three state elections

Indians ruling Congress Party took strong leads in three state polls as votes were counted. Singhs party was ahead Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh. The opposition grouping headed by the Bharatiya Janata Party led in 91 constituencies. Security officials were patrolling the roads in Aurang Abad of Maharashtra. Analysts say wins for Congress in all three will bolster the partys confidence. Analysts say Congress will become stronger and more confident as it pursues policy measures for the economy and education. Political analysts say that Congress will be able to implement financial and tax policies more efficiently.
