Qureshi's role in memo scandal raises eyebrows

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – After Pakistan’s former ambassador to the US Husain Haqqani made some shocking revelations about the memo scandal, the role of that time foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has also raised several eyebrows.
However, Shah Mehmood Qureshi hasn’t opened up about the infamous memo scandal as yet.
Experts have questioned as to why the then foreign minister didn’t interfere when Hussain Haqqani exceeded his responsibility and as to why the action was not taken against him.
It is pertinent here to mention that the former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi resigned as foreign minister of Pakistan and later joined PTI.
