LAHORE (Dunya News) - The proposed tri-nation series between Pakistan, Ireland and Zimbabwe next year is facing uncertainty, sources said.
According to sources, a tri-series involving the three countries was under consideration, but Zimbabwe's national team is unlikely to tour Pakistan for the series.
Sources said the proposed Test and three-match T20 series against Ireland is also facing uncertainty, while Ireland may visit Pakistan only for a three-match ODI series.
Consultations among the three cricket boards are continuing, and a final decision will be taken after mutual discussions.
Sources said the Pakistan Cricket Board's think tank wants to focus more on ODIs ahead of next year's World Cup.
According to sources, the national team's schedule for next year is also being prepared, with priority being considered for the ODI format in view of the upcoming World Cup.
