ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Ministry of Religious Affairs has formally started collecting the second installment of payments under the government Hajj scheme from October 5, with pilgrims required to complete the process digitally.
According to instructions issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the second installment can be paid through the Pak Hajj app and Digital Hajj Portal, following the same digital procedure used for the previous installment.
The ministry spokesperson said the process of making any changes or amendments to the Hajj package has also been closed.
The spokesperson clarified that all pilgrims are required to upload a medical fitness certificate before depositing the second installment. Pilgrims will be eligible to pay the installment only after uploading their verified medical fitness certificate through the Pak Hajj app or Digital Hajj Portal.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has set October 20 as the deadline for depositing the second installment. It clarified that if the required amount is not deposited by the deadline, the relevant Hajj application will automatically be considered cancelled.
In case of cancellation, all payments deposited by the applicant so far will be transferred back to the relevant account.
