JAMSHORO (Dunya News) - Train operations were temporarily affected after a freight train split into two parts at a railway bridge near Jamshoro Kotri Station.

The cargo train was travelling from Yousafwala to Karachi when it broke down, causing the movement of trains on the down track to be suspended. The incident disrupted rail traffic in the area and raised concerns about delays to other trains using the route.

Senior railway officials promptly reached the site after receiving information about the incident.

They supervised relief operations and coordinated efforts to restore the damaged train and clear the track.

Employees of the Railway Carriage Department worked continuously for nearly two hours to resolve the problem. Their efforts eventually restored the freight train, which was then sent on its journey.

Following the successful operation, train traffic on the affected track was also restored, allowing railway operations to resume normally.
