Summary Pakistan has extended its airspace restrictions on Indian airlines and aircraft until September 24, with the latest NOTAM continuing measures first introduced on April 23, 2025.
(Web Desk) – Pakistan has extended its restrictions on the use of its airspace by Indian aircraft until September 24, according to a new NOTAM issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority.
The latest notice stated that the restrictions, effective from August 18, will remain in place until 4:59 am Pakistan Standard Time on September 24.
The ban applies to all Indian-registered airlines, leased aircraft, as well as commercial and military aircraft owned or operated by Indian citizens.
The restrictions prevent aircraft covered by the NOTAM from entering Pakistani airspace.
Pakistan first imposed the restrictions on April 23, 2025. The latest extension is the 16th NOTAM issued in relation to the airspace restrictions.
