Summary Train services between Quetta and other provinces have been suspended for a day over security concerns, with Jaffar Express operations halted until the situation improves.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Train services connecting Quetta, Balochistan, with other provinces have been suspended for one day due to security concerns, according to railway authorities.

Railway officials said the Jaffar Express scheduled to travel from Quetta to Peshawar will not depart today. Meanwhile, the Jaffar Express travelling from Peshawar to Quetta will be stopped at Jacobabad.

Railway sources said the decision to temporarily suspend train operations was taken in view of the prevailing security situation. Authorities are monitoring developments while considering the difficulties faced by passengers.

Officials said train services will resume their normal operations once the security situation improves.

Passengers have been advised to remain aware of further updates from the railway administration regarding the restoration of services.
