Summary Lahore High Court orders return of Rs70 million to Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz, deposited as guarantee in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case, following NAB closure of the case
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered the return of Rs70 million deposited by the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam nawaz as a guarantee in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
A three-member bench, led by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum, issued the order on the petition filed by the chief minister
Following the closure of the case by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Maryam Nawaz requested the return of the deposited funds, which the court has now ordered.
