CHINIOT (Dunya News) - Four members of a family were killed and another sustained injuries when the roof of their house collapsed in Chiniot on late Wednesday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, roof of a house located in Kandiwal area in the outskirts of Chiniot suddenly caved in, burying five persons, who were sleeping in the house, under the debris.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and retrieved dead bodies of a man, his wife and two sons from the rubbles and pulled out an 18-year-old girl in injured condition.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Tanvir, Razia, Waqar and Waqas. The dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. Later, police handed over dead bodies to their heirs after completing medico-legal formalities.
