ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast that hot and dry weather will persist across most parts of the country over the next 12 hours.

According to the report, early morning temperatures recorded were 19°C in Islamabad, 28°C in Lahore, 27°C in Karachi, 20°C in Peshawar, 18°C in Quetta and Muzaffarabad, 12°C in Gilgit, and 15°C in Murree.

The department stated that no rainfall is expected in most regions during the next few hours, and the overall weather will remain dry and hot. Temperatures are likely to rise further during the daytime.

Weather officials also reported dry conditions in several cities of Indian-administered Kashmir, including Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla. Early morning temperatures there were 13°C in Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian; 27°C in Jammu; 6°C in Leh; and 14°C in Pulwama and Baramulla.

The meteorological department advised citizens to take precautionary measures during hot weather and avoid unnecessary exposure to sunlight.
