PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Suhail Afridi on Friday expressed the determination to eradicated terrorism from the country very soon, Dunya News.
Addressing a ceremony, Chief Minister Suhail Afridi said that the provincial and federal governments will work together to eliminate terrorism. Sitting together will help formulate a clear and comprehensive strategy. He added that police force has made many sacrifices in the war against terrorism, adding that the police’s priority is to eliminate terrorism and restore peace and order.
Suhail Afridi said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is being further strengthened and added that the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) is also being given more authority. He said that Rs 3.8 billion has been approved for the Safe City Project. He said that the Safe City Project in Peshawar will soon become fully operational.
The Chief Minister said that he did not take offense at a woman’s question and had responded to it. He added that they have raised public awareness, which is why people are asking questions. He said that if their performance had not been good, they would not have come to power for a third term. He further said that all women of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should question government officers.
