LAHORE, ISLAMABAD (Dunya News, Web Desk) - The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast rain and snowfall in various parts of the country from today till February 3, warning that the risk of landslides may increase in mountainous regions during this period.

According to the Met Office, rain and snowfall are expected over the next few days in northern Balochistan and northern areas, while several regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also likely to receive rain and snow.

Rain is also expected in Islamabad and the Potohar region, as well as in Punjab, Murree and the Galiyat.

The department has cautioned that upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir may face landslides, advising citizens and travelers to take precautionary measures.
