ABU DHABI (Web Desk) - President Asif Ali Zardari has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to tolerance, inclusivity, and peaceful coexistence during a meeting with United Arab Emirates Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.

The meeting underscored the importance of promoting dialogue, inclusivity, and harmony among diverse communities. President Zardari emphasized that tolerance and peaceful coexistence remain core values of Pakistan’s state and society.

During the interaction, the president paid tribute to the visionary leadership of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He lauded the UAE’s national vision of tolerance and human fraternity, noting that it has positioned the country as a leading global example of harmony among diverse communities.

President Asif Ali Zardari appreciated the UAE’s success in fostering unity and mutual respect among more than 200 nationalities, describing it as a compelling model of social cohesion. He noted that these values strongly resonate with Pakistan’s own commitment to interfaith harmony, social inclusion, and respect for cultural and religious diversity, as enshrined in the Constitution and reflected in societal traditions.

First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE were also present on the occasion.
