KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Interior Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar has warned the PTI workers against challenging the state writ, saying the party should hold its rally at the designated venue.

The minister said if a rally is held on any road, the Sindh government will take strict action, the minister warned.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar gave a clear message to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding holding a rally, saying that the PTI is allowed to hold a rally in Bagh-e-Jinnah.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided not to hold its planned public rally at Karachi’s Bagh-e-Jinnah despite receiving official permission, opting instead to stage the gathering at the public gate of Mazar-e-Quaid on Sunday at 2pm.

The move came after what the party described as a delayed and bad-faith issuance of a no-objection certificate by the Sindh administration, which PTI leaders say left them without sufficient time to prepare at the original venue.
