Security forces killed seven militants in Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan; one soldier martyred. ISPR says Indian-sponsored Fitna al Khawarij targeted; clearance operation continues nationwide efforts.
DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Web Desk) - Security forces killed seven militants during an intelligence-based operation in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan.
According to a statement issued by ISPR, the operation was conducted after receiving intelligence about the presence of Indian proxy group Fitna al Khawarij in the area.
The statement said that during the operation, seven militants were eliminated. However, during the exchange of fire, a brave son of the nation, Naik Yasir Khan, embraced martyrdom.
ISPR said that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed militants, who were involved in multiple terrorist activities.
The military’s media wing added that a clearance operation is ongoing in the area to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored militants.
ISPR further stated that the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism will be completely eradicated from the country and that security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue anti-terrorism operations with full force.
