SHIKARPUR (Dunya News) - By-election in Sindh PS-9 Shikarpur will be held on Sunday (today), with process of delivery of election materials has been completed.
In the constituency, 277,792 registered voters will exercise their right to vote, including 148,310 male voters and 129,482 female voters.
A total of 178 polling stations have been set up in the constituency, including 49 male, 49 female and 80 combined polling stations. As many 54 polling stations have been declared highly sensitive and 84 sensitive.
Eight candidates are in the race including Agha Shahbaz Khan Durrani of the Pakistan Peoples Party and Maulana Rushdullah Shah of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan.

Sindh Election Commissioner Ijaz Anwar Chohan has issued instructions to the relevant institutions to ensure free, fair and peaceful conduct of the by-elections at all costs.
