PTI forms committee to review party constitution

According to a statement issued by PTI, the committee has been set up to remove all flaws from the party constitution and to align it with the constitutions of other political parties.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday constituted a committee to review the party’s constitution.
According to a statement issued by PTI, the committee has been set up to remove all flaws from the party constitution and to align it with the constitutions of other political parties.
The statement further said that reforms are necessary in the party’s constitution in order to avoid objections from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
According to the announcement, the committee includes Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja, Dr Arif Alvi, Hamid Khan, Asad Qaiser, Rauf Hassan, and Firdous Shamim Naqvi.
In addition, PTI’s statement says preparations should be made to conduct intra-party elections as soon as possible.
