Pakistan, Indonesia to hold discussions, sign MoUs in various fields

According to the Foreign Office, President Subianto will hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Indonesia President Prabowo Subianto will start his two-day official visit to Pakistan on Monday (today) with discussions to enhance cooperation in various fields including trade, investment, defence, health, IT, climate change, education, and culture, and to strengthen partnership at regional and global levels.
Pakistan and Indonesia will also sign memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in various fields.
According to the Foreign Office, President Subianto will hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He will also meet President Asif Ali Zardari and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
The visit of President Subianto is particularly significant because this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Indonesia. Incidentally, it is President Subianto’s first visit to Islamabad.
