Islamabad Police arrested JUI-F leader Farrukh Khokhar after allegedly recovering 'illegal' weapons from his vehicle during a search at a Zero Point checkpost
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Police in the federal capital have taken Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Farrukh Khokhar into custody on charges of possessing illegal weapons.
According to Islamabad Police officials, the arrest was made at a checkpost set up near Zero Point, where a search of his vehicle reportedly led to the discovery of the weapons.
Following the arrest, Khokhar was shifted to the Aabpara Police Station for further legal action.

Farrukh Khokhar, who hails from a prominent political family of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, joined JUI-F only a few months ago.
Police sources say all legal aspects of the case are being thoroughly examined.
