Policeman killed after being hit by tractor-trolley in Lahore

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A policeman was killed and another sustained critical injuries when they were hit by a sand laden tractor-trolley in Lahore on Tuesday night, Dunya News reported.

According to details, the policemen were performing their duty near the Corporation Chowk area when a rashly-driven tractor-trolley over ran them, killing a policeman on the spot and injuring another.

Rescue teams and a heavy contingent of police including SHO Lower Mall Police Station reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. Police have seized the tractor-trolley while its driver managed to escape from the scene after the accident.
