Abida Parveen alive and well; family rejects false death reports

(Dunya News) – Reports circulating on social media about the death of renowned Sufi singer Abida Parveen are false and baseless, a fact confirmed by her daughter herself.

Clarifying the situation, Abida Parveen’s daughter said that news of the legendary singer’s passing is completely untrue. She stated that her mother is safe, well, and in good health.

She explained that a woman named Abida Parveen had passed away in Lahore’s Dilgaran Chowk area, which led to the misunderstanding. “These reports are entirely false. Fans are being misled by the spread of incorrect information regarding my mother’s death,” she said.

Abida Parveen’s daughter also urged the public to rely only on authentic and credible sources for information and not to believe or spread rumors.
