(Web Desk) - Veteran Pakistani actress Asma Abbas has advised single women over the age of 60 to consider marriage if they find a sincere and trustworthy life partner.

Speaking in her latest vlog, Asma Abbas said there is nothing wrong with getting married later in life, provided the person is genuine and compatible. She emphasized that companionship can play an important role in one's later years.

The actress clarified that her earlier remarks on the subject had been taken out of context. She noted that while not everyone can be trusted, people should not hesitate to embrace the opportunity if they meet someone who is honest, caring, and supportive.

Referring to the marriages of her sister, Bushra Ansari, and veteran actress Samina Ahmad, Asma said both were fortunate to find loving and compatible spouses. However, she acknowledged that such relationships are rare.

She added that the need for companionship often becomes more significant in old age, as having a supportive partner can make it easier to cope with illness and everyday challenges.

Asma Abbas said strong relationships are built on mutual respect, patience, understanding, and compassion, adding that these qualities are essential for a successful marriage at any stage of life.
