LODHRAN (Dunya News) - In a bizarre turn of events, a wedding party came under attack from the relatives of the bridegroom here on Saturday.
The bride’s grandfather told police that the uncle of bridegroom orchestrated the assault when his marriage proposal for one of his relatives was denied.
According to sources, angry people attacked the wedding guests with bricks and batons. The alleged attackers also smashed the groom's car. The wedding party accused the suspects of climbing onto rooftops and throwing bricks.
According to the police, those injured in the incident have been transferred to DHQ Hospital. Legal action will be taken upon receipt of the request.
