Summary Levies personnel cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt for the killers

MALAKAND (Dunya News) – Two persons died and four sustained wounds when two armed groups traded fire over a dispute pertaining to a passage in Batkhela here on Thursday.

According to Levies sources, the dead were identified as Muhammad and Ali Akbar, saying a minor girl was among the injured, who were rushed to hospital.

The trade of fire took place between the two warring groups over a dispute surrounding a passage. A suspect was arrested, whereas other escaped.

In the wake of tension between the rival groups, Levies personnel surrounded the Batkhela hospital and cordoned off the area. Further investigation was underway. A manhunt was launched for the killers.
