GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Two alleged outlaws were killed allegedly by their own accomplices during ‘encounters’ with police in different areas here on Thursday.

In the first shootout occurred in Gahkar Police jurisdiction, a suspected criminal was killed by the firing of their own accomplices in an exchange of fire with police.

The outlaw identified as Abid was wanted in many case of heinous crimes including drug trafficking. His accomplices escaped. Police launched a manhunt for them.

In Kamoke Police area, an alleged outlaw identified as Yasir was killed in the firing of his own accomplices during an encounter with police.

His accomplices opened fire to get him freed from police custody. In the shootout, he was eliminated by the firing of his own accomplices, who fled after the incident. Police were investigating.
