BAHAWALNAGAR (Dunya News) – Two suspected dacoits were killed and one was arrested after ‘encounters’ with Crime Control Department (CCD) in different areas here on Wednesday.
In the first incident occurred near Jantar Road, two robbers were killed in an exchange of fire with CCD personnel. A policeman was also injured in the shootout. The dead outlaws were involved in several cases of heinous crimes.
In the second incident in Gird Hari, an encounter took place between dacoits and CCD police. During the encounter, a robber was injured and arrested, whereas his three accomplices escaped.
A manhunt was launched for the fleeing outlaws. Looted valuables and illegal weapons were seized from the dead and injured outlaws. Further investigation was underway.
