LAHORE (Dunya News) – A domestic help died in hospital where she was taken for an abortion after being gang-raped allegedly by the son and the driver of her mistress in Model Town here on Tuesday.
According to police, the 18-year-old domestic worker gave a video statement before her death in the hospital that she was gang-raped by the son and the driver of her mistress, making her pregnant in November, 2025.
She added that she had told her parents about her pregnancy, and the gang rape, which the suspects did for five months.
Police said the victim’s parents took her to a private hospital for abortion, where her condition worsened and she was referred to Services Hospital, Lahore.
After examining the case, the hospital administration called the police, who on the bases of the video statement, which the rape victim gave before dying, registered a case against the suspects.
The FIR also includes sections related to murder. Police said the girl changed her real statement on the pressure of her father and the mistress that only driver subjected her to rape.
But police included the mistress’s son in the investigation and said that they were waiting for a post-mortem report to investigate the crime thoroughly.
