LAHORE (Dunya News) - Four policemen have been suspended for allegedly taking bribe from kite purchasers after harassing them in the Gujjarpura area.

The inquiry confirmed allegations against the policemen. The inquiry found that the cops stopped four men identified as Usman, Subhan, and Sufyan, checked their kites, declared the barcodes on the kites as non-standard, and harassed them.
The officials allegedly received Rs56,000 in cash and 50 bundles of kites as bribe. DIG Operations Faisal Kamran suspended the four officials identified Murtaza, Amjad, Shahid and Irfan.
