KARACHI (Dunya News) – Two masked assailants gunned down an activist of a political party what police suspected a targeted murder in Bilal Colony here on Tuesday night.
According to police, the deceased identified as Shahzad, 40, was an employee of Water Board and a member of a political party.
SSP Central suspected that the man was shot dead over a political rivalry, saying police were trying to ascertain the cause of the murder.
He said an investigation was launched, looking at all angles to reach out to the killers, who sped away after targeting the citizen.
The dead body was sent to hospital for medicolegal procedure, with police cordoning off the area and recording statements from bystanders.
