Two suspected bandits injured, arrested after 'encounter' in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police claimed to have nabbed two alleged robbers after an ‘encounter’ here on Wednesday night, Dunya News reported.
Darakhshan police setting up barricades were checking vehicles. During the checking, they gave a signal to two people riding a bike.
They did not comply with the police order and started firing. Police retaliated. As a result of the shootout, the suspected bandits got injuries and could not escape.
Police arrested them and shifted to hospital. They have been identified as Abid and Ibrahim.
Police recovered stolen bike, cash and illegal weapons. The suspects are history-sheeters and wanted by police in many cases of heinous crimes. Further investigation was underway.
