(Web Desk) – Australia secured an impressive 8-wicket victory over England in the second Ashes Test in Brisbane, taking a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.
This win also helped Australia maintain its unbeaten run in the World Test Championship (2025-27), where they have won all five of their matches so far.
Following back-to-back defeats, England dropped to 7th in the World Test Championship standings.
South Africa remains in second place, while Sri Lanka holds the third spot. Pakistan is ranked 4th, with India in 5th and New Zealand in 6th.
Australia’s dominant performance continues as they head into the third Ashes Test, set to begin in Adelaide on December 17.
