KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued to face selling pressure on the second trading day of the business week, with the benchmark index falling by more than 100 points during trading.
The KSE-100 index declined to 173,377 points, reflecting the continuation of the negative trend seen in the previous session.
At the close of the previous trading day, the index had dropped 1,692 points to settle at 173,636 points.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani rupee remained stable against the US dollar in interbank trading. The US currency was being traded at Rs277.40.
The latest market movement reflects continued weakness in equities, while the exchange rate remained steady during interbank trading.
