KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday witnessed modest gains amid uncertainty over talks to end the war between the US and Iran.
The KSE-100 Index stood at 178,406.69 points, showing a gain of 206.67 points compared with the previous close.
The market started the day with the previous closing level of 178,200.02 points and moved between an intraday high of 178,768.83 points and a low of 178,023.65 points.
A day earlier, the benchmark KSE-100 Index staged a massive rally, gaining 2,105.91 points, a positive change of 1.20 percent, to close at 178,200.02 points against 176,094.12 points recorded in the previous trading session.
The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 785.361 million shares, compared to 880.951 million shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value surged to Rs33.140 billion from Rs24.957 billion.
Market capitalisation increased to Rs19.953 trillion from Rs19.755 trillion recorded a day earlier.
