KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices witnessed a significant decline in both local and international markets on Thursday, with the domestic bullion market recording a sharp drop in the value of the precious metal.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs9,720, bringing the new rate down to Rs432,716.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs8,748, after which its new value was fixed at Rs369,422.

Meanwhile, the downward trend continued in the international market as well. The price of gold in the global bullion market dropped by $40 per ounce, taking the new rate to $6,889 per ounce.
A day earlier, gold prices dropped by Rs12,627, settling at Rs442,436.
Market analysts noted that this follows earlier declines recorded on June 6 and June 8, when both global and domestic gold prices also showed downward movement.
The latest drop reflects ongoing fluctuations in global commodity markets, which continue to influence domestic pricing trends.
