Gold prices rise in Pakistan following a global surge, with 24k gold increasing by Rs5,300 to Rs524,762 per tola. Silver also climbs by Rs346 to Rs8,615 per tola
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Gold extended gains in Pakistan on Monday in line with upward trend in international market.
The price of gold in the international market rose by $53 per ounce, reaching $5,020.
This surge in global prices has had a ripple effect on local markets, with 24-karat gold in Pakistan witnessing a jump of Rs5,300 per tola. The price of gold now stands at Rs524,762 per tola.
Meanwhile, the cost of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs4,544, bringing the price to Rs449,898.
Silver has also seen an upward trend, with the price of 24-carat silver per tola climbing by Rs 346. The current price of silver stands at Rs8,615 per tola.
