BEIJING (Dunya News) - US President Donald Trump has reached Beijing on a three-day official visit, where he received a grand welcome.
President Trump will meet Chinese President Xi Jinping during the visit to discuss the ongoing trade war and the global economy.
Trump had previously visited China in 2017.
Before departing for China from Washington, Donald Trump told the media that “anyone who says Iran should be allowed to possess nuclear weapons is a foolish person.”
The US president stated that America wants a good deal with Iran and expressed confidence that such an agreement would benefit both countries.

However, he warned that “victory against Iran will be ours, whether peacefully or otherwise.”
He further said that he would hold detailed discussions with the Chinese president regarding the Iran conflict and the regional situation during his China visit, although he added that the United States does not need China’s help on the Iran issue.
President Trump also openly praised Pakistan’s role, saying that Pakistan played an outstanding part in the negotiation process.
He described Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir as remarkable personalities and commended Pakistan’s mediation efforts as excellent.
