Five-storey building collapses in India

The building in Surat’s Mahidhar Pura locality had developed cracks due to ongoing construction work at an adjacent plot.Following which all the residents of building had been asked to vacate the building in the morning itself.The building was residential cum commercial. Some other buildings in the Hira Bazaar area were also vacated.However, there was no causality in the building collapse.
