Summary Mourning processions are being held throughout the world on the eve of Muharram.
In Iran, huge and heavy processions were arranged in which hundreds of people participated.Scholars and Zakirs highlighted philosophy of martyrdom and its importance from Islamic point of view.Mourning meetings were also arranged in Arab countries including in India, Iraq, Afghanistan Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Syria and Saudi Arabia.In Iraqi city Karbala, thousands of people visited sanctuary of Imam Hussain (RA).
