Summary Two more miners were successfully rescued in north China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The miners are now said to be receiving treatment at the regional Huade County Hospital.They are said to be in a stable condition, with sustained minor fractures not life threatening, according to the vice-president of the hospital, Li You.It has been reported that doctors gathered from all regional hospitals tended to the injured miners.According to incoming reports, four among the five still trapped underground, have been confirmed dead, while rescue is underway for the remaining survivor.The mine collapse happened around 03:10 Friday morning in Xianghuang Banner of Xilin Gol League, 350 km northeast of the regional capital city of Hohhot, trapping 12 miners who were working at the time with the thirteenth member managing to escape, according to the local rescue authority headquarters.An initial investigation into the incident has found that the pillars of the cave mine were of inadequate quality for its intended purpose.
