Summary Two British soldiers have been killed by a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan.
The Defense Ministry said Thursday the soldiers from 1st The Queens Dragoons Guards were on a patrol in the Nahr-e-Saraj district of Helmand province when their armored vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device.The soldiers who were serving with the Brigade Reconnaissance Force were not named but the ministry said their families have been informed.The deaths bring to 388 the number of British military personnel killed in Afghanistan since the start of operations there in 2001.
