Thailands worst flooding in 50 years started to recede in the west of Bangkok on Friday.Waters that previously were waist-high have subsided to just below knee-level in some places. Charan Road in Bangkok was one of the worst-hit by the floods in the west of the capital.As water levels decreased, residents started the task of cleaning up. The Royal Thai Navy has issued a warning saying there is a danger of high tides threatening to overflow Chao Phraya River over the weekend (November 12-14).Bangkok authorities have announced the evacuation of 12 districts mostly in the north, east and west of the city.Thailands Prevention and Mitigation said 533 people have been killed since mid of July, with 2.86 million people affected by the worst flooding in five decades.
